The study shows that:
19% of all entrepreneurs intend to buy a business in the next five years, compared to 44% of owners of businesses with 20 or more employees.
Acquiring a competitor tops the list of buyer motivations.
Very few buyers are looking for a company that is in decline or unprofitable.
